Dr. Edris completed her optometry education at Southeastern University, followed by a specialized ocular disease residency at the esteemed Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Driven by a commitment to accessible, high-quality eye care, Dr. Edris founded Blinking Owl Eyecare™, a practice dedicated to expanding patient access focused on preventative, early detection practice modality. Blinking Owl Eyecare™ has since grown into multiple successful locations in Miami and Broward, offering advanced services including ophthalmology co-management and continuing education. Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Edris serves as a mentor OD for Essilor Luxottica. She is a speaker for CooperVision, VP of the Civetta Group, and a consultant for many AI companies further demonstrating her leadership and innovative consultative approach in the field of Optometry.

Nicole Gonzalez oversees the daily operations of Blinking Owl Eyecare, ensuring efficiency and exceptional patient care. She takes great pride in leading and mentoring the team of optometric technicians, creating a supportive and collaborative work environment. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management at the University of North Florida to further her expertise in clinic operations. In addition to her role at Blinking Owl Eyecare, she is the founder of Pure Love Elixirs, a wellness brand specializing in natural and functional homeopathic products.

Dr. Angelica Cifuentes serves as clinical director of Blinking Owl Eyecare. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Cifuentes is the CEO and Co-Founder of Bye Dry Eyes.com, an e-commerce company for all things Dry Eyes. She’s Passionate about mentorship, advocacy, and engages with a broad audience on social media through her platform, @tinyoptometrist, where she educates and advocates for eye health across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. She’s fluent in Spanish and English and leads our dry eye clinic for IPL/RF.

Dr. Enobal is the managing OD in the Davie office. He received his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University. After completing his studies, Dr. Enobal dedicated himself to providing exceptional care in the corporate setting. Dr. Enobal provides thorough, comprehensive exams by incorporating retinal imaging and dilation to detect diseases like glaucoma, diabetes, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Dr. Enobal is also able to fit specialty contact lenses that are FDA-approved to treat the progression of myopia. He encourages yearly examinations as they are vital to early treatment and prevention of disease and promote ocular health.

Stéphane Fitoussi, OD is originally from Paris, France and earned his Bachelor of Optometry in Israel. He achieved his Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Florida and his residency in Ocular disease at the number eye institute in the USA, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. He has a passion for teaching and mentoring students at the Owl offices and he is the creator and manager of a successful platform, Interesting Retinal Cases, on Instagram where ocular health content is posted through interesting educational images and real-life cases. He speaks French, Hebrew, Spanish, Russian, and English. He is the managing doctor at our Doral office.

Dr. Tara Griguere is our managing OD of our coral gables office. She received her Doctor of optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University. She enjoys preventative care from managing dry eye disease to performing advanced retinal and glaucoma screenings She also enjoys using specialty contact lens fittings for pediatric myopic cases to slow the progression of nearsightedness. Additionally, she is one of our leading dry eye specialists, using FDA treatment plans via IPL/RF to enhance your dry eye symptoms!

Dr. Companioni has been practicing comprehensive optometry in Miami for over 30 years. His passion to connect with patients and prescribe based on their needs, not the business needs. He is the managing OD of our blue lagoon office. On his time off, he enjoys spending time with his family and new grandchild!

Dr. Mahsa Modares graduated from one of the best optometry schools in the USA, Nova Southeastern University. She completed clinical rotations at the VA hospital and volunteered on medical mission trips to Jamaica to provide eye care to people in need. Dr. Modares has been providing exceptional eye care since 2012 in Miami area, serving thousands of patients. She is known for her friendly and personable nature while providing thorough comprehensive eye care. In her free time, she loves to travel, paint, and spend time at the beach.
