At Blinking Owl Eye Care, we are devoted to quality, comprehensive eye care that focuses on prevention of disease through early diagnosis and integrated co-management with Miami’s top ophthalmology specialists. Our doctors are board-certified optometrists that bring their expertise for your convenience. We believe quality eye care should not be out of reach, so we offer state-of-the-art imaging equipment in all of our locations. In fact, our CEO believes that all patients, regardless of financial ability, should have the opportunity to get excellent care no matter their situation.
Our Founder
Dr. Faten Edris graduated from one of the best optometry schools in the US, Nova Southeastern University. She was amongst 6 candidates to be selected to complete a highly specialized ocular disease residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, ranked #1 eye hospital in the country.
Dr. Edris has always seen a need for excellence in specialized eye care that’s accessible to all. After residency, she became the director of optometry at a prestigious medical institute and established two practices from inception to operation. After her time there, she went on to pursue her dream of private practice; that is when Blinking Owl Eyecare™ was created. In less than a year, Blinking Owl Eyecare™ has grown into multiple flourishing practices with multifaceted optometric specialties such as specialty contact lens fittings, MiSight pediatric myopia management, and IPL treatment for Dry Eye disease and aesthetics.
